Readers: Takala Trails & Holiday House Motel
Last month we asked:
What are you doing to get ready for the tourism season?
Lots of riding happening at Takala Trails Ranch! This mild winter has allowed us to continue our Sunday Pony Camps all winter. We have not missed a Sunday so far this year. We are getting ready for a busy spring and summer by hiring two people with extensive experince in coaching, both English and western, guiding,
horsetraining and apparently experts in Line Dancing and Two Step. If we have enough interest we will offer lessons in dance as well this summer. Plans for at least two week long Pony Camps are on the way starting the beginning of July. As well, we hope to offer an overnight camp for those students that live out of town.

HOLIDAY HOUSE MOTEL - 2010 We are busy as usual this time of year. To mention just a few things: the LadysmithRoseGardenGarden.com/ and our other flowers and plants are off to a good start. Our rooms are being upgraded with some rooms getting new fridges and stoves, curtains and bedspreads to mention a few things.
Business was great the last three years and we are looking forward to our best year yet. We are holding our prices below the 2008 level. Reservations are rolling in for weddings, anniversaries from Europe, Asia, the United States and other places.
Many of our guests are enjoying our local passenger train going by twice a day and the walk to Transfer Beach and our trail walks. People always mention how friendly is Ladysmith. Please come and visit us so we can show you our rooms for your guests.
