SmartList is one of my favorite tools to lookup Dynamics-GP data, export to Excel and create Word mail merges. I like it for finding a record and going to an associated window by double clicking the record. This can be a drill down inquiry, a transaction processing window or maintenance windows for editing. You can change the default window to better meet your needs. With the SmartList window open, click on Extras>SmartList>Options, select SmartList Category (Accounts, Customers, Vendors etc.), then select the default Go To window from the pull down list of available windows. While you are here you can mark the fields and the order they will be displayed when the default view is selected. Email me if you need more help with SmartList.
